Information about the Artist

Painting has always been a large part of my life having painted since childhood.  I became a full-time professional artist in 2000 after earning my living in the printing industry for most of my working life and being Chairman of LBAS for several years.

I paint in most media but usually I use watercolours, acrylics, oils and mixed media and my favourite subjects are landscapes, townscapes and wildlife. My work can be found in private collections in America, Australia, Hong Kong, Europe and, of course, in many parts of the UK.

In addition to painting whatever I choose, the rest of my days are taken up with workshops, demonstrations, teaching, commissions and exhibitions. One man and group shows both locally and nationally including at the Royal Institute Mall Galleries in London have been among the highlights of my career.
