Roy Williams
Since leaving art college I have worked as calligrapher, cartoonist, character merchandiser, magazine designer, graphic designer, illustrator and painter; all of which I have mostly enjoyed. Not least among the highlights was taking tea with George Harrison and accepting an invitation to illustrate his autobiography, I Me Mine (1982). But whatever my subject or medium, variety remains the determining principle.
