LBAS SPRING EXHIBITION          28th May - 31st May 2008

Our Spring Exhibition will be at LEIGHTON MIDDLE SCHOOL, (Bridge Street Entrance), Leighton Buzzard (click for map).

To enter you must have paid your annual subscription fee. It is also expected that all exhibitors take a turn at invigilation - usually 90 minute sessions - between 10am and 5pm. Ring Barbara Wilkins, Tel: 01525 374841 as soon as possible to arrange. Help from  non-exhibitors would be very welcome.

Members may submit a maximum of THREE framed pictures (min price £35) and FIVE portfolio works (min price £15). Giglee Prints are NOT allowed  in the exhibition. We shall try to hang all works, but should space or numbers make this impossible the committee will decide upon the best solution. (Small sculptures and other non-picture items may be substituted but please check with Vida.) All work is exhibited at the artist’s own risk. Whilst all care will be taken, neither Leighton Buzzard Art Society nor Beds County Council can accept liability for the loss of, or damage to, any exhibited item.

HANGING WORKS: Pictures should be ready to hang and in good condition.

MAXIMUM FRAME SIZE: 32” x 24” or equivalent area (only one picture if larger). Fee £2/item.
PORTFOLIO WORKS: These should be mounted in a stiff card mount, protected with clear acetate film. 

MAXIMUM MOUNT SIZE: strictly 30” x 18”. Fee 50p/item 

Make all cheques payable to LBAS or alternatively LEIGHTON BUZZARD ART SOCIETY.

PLEASE LABEL ALL WORK on the back with the ARTIST’S NAME, TITLE, MEDIUM and PRICE, 

HANDING IN: Main School Hall (Bridge Street) Tuesday 27th May 2008, 10:30am to 12:30pm.

COLLECTION OF UNSOLD WORK: Saturday 31st May 2008, 4pm to 5pm.

LBAS can take no responsibility for uncollected work so Please be prompt. 

A Commission of 20% will be levied on sales. 
The balance will be paid to the artist as soon as possible after the close of the exhibition.

A Private View will be held on Tuesday 27th May 2008 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. All LBAS members are invited to attend and may bring guests. (Return the upper part of the form if you are attending but not exhibiting).
